OK, that's FERNANDES specs. I've had this guitar since new, and she is a beauty. Very ergonomic, just fantastic to play. The body routing @ the rear and the belly dish are great. The flat finger board is so cool at 14". The Head stock, neck and body have not a mark on them, she is in great condition. The scratch plate is the only thing bearing the signs of being played .
I have had upgrades carried out on this guitar, 1st. The stock EMG 81 in the bridge was far too shrill (ice pick) this guitar is now fitted with an EMG 85X in the bridge pos. Very articulate, very dynamic and a perfect match for the remaining EMG 60 in the neck, in the middle position these two pups show how versatile active pups can be, if one experiments . The EMG 60 alone is a wonderful pup, a little reverb, set amp to clean and this active pup will surprise you. Also the 9 volt STD. system has been upgraded to a 18 volt system (an additional battery set in the control cavity) this has given the guitar extra headroom and greater clarity. This guitar can do blues, rock (ACDC type) or crank up the gain and these two EMG's scream and because it's an active system it's QUITE , no hum no buzzing !
